High income skills are learned over time.  There’s no 1 college course on “high income” skills.  Instead they are acquired by the school of hard knocks.  Life experience goes a long way. 

High income skills isn’t just about occupational skills, it’s also about personality skills. High-income earners build their personality skills; values, emotions and passions as well as their professional skills.

High income earners implement the following skills: 

• • Planning:  It’s important to think ahead and make plans.  

• • Go after your passion:  It’s no secret if you like what you do, it won’t be like work.  You’ll enjoy waking up and look forward to the day.  Living your life pursuing your passions provides meaning to life.

• • Being consistent:  Doing a task one time and expecting million dollar results is unrealistic.  To be successful and become rich, consistent action is a must. For example creating one video or one blog post and expecting it to go viral is not likely to happen, but consistently creating content on a regular basis is much more realistic.

• • Communication:  From training to public speaking communication is an important skill to develop.  Being able to clearly speak and relay a message to others will help you go far.

• • Storytelling:  Being able to connect with an audience and tell a compelling story is a skill not everyone has.  When you’re able to tell a story and connect on an emotional level you have won.  Storytelling doesn’t always come naturally but it can be learned. 

• • Sales:  Sales is usually the backbone of most businesses.  Without sales there’s no profits.  The ability to effectively present the features and benefits contributes to the consistent sales for your business.

• •  Coaching and consulting: Successful high-income earners often enjoy sharing their knowledge with others.  Providing coaching and consulting adds to your bottom line.  People will seek you out and want to learn from you.  You’ll be able to charge your own prices and set your own hours.  

• • Digital courses:  Take the information you learned and create your own digital courses.
