What Crazy Money Making Ideas Can You Think Up?

Let’s face it some of the most crazy ideas have become some of the most successful businesses; Uber, Lyft, Airbnb, goat yoga to name a few. 

When you use your imagination anything is possible.  Some new money making ideas are immediately usable.   Others require a little more thought.

This is great way to get your creativity going, and no matter how crazy the ideas may seem at first, there is often a way to bring them down to earth, as in this first example.

Treehouse Vacations In The Air

Now this may be a crazy thought but maybe it’s not if you expand on the idea. Staying in a treehouse often brings back fond memories of childhood and it’s a chance to get away from one’s busy lives.

If you do a search for “treehouse cabins”  you’ll find there actually is a market for it and there’s some interesting treehouse cabins.  

How much more could one take the treehouse idea?  What about vacationing for days or longer in a hot air balloon?  I’m sure someone has done it.  There was that story about “Around the world in 80 days”.  As much fun as it might be to travel for a week in a balloon, how practical is it?

What if you explored the balloon idea further? Maybe if the balloons were tethered, so they could be allowed to float two thousand feet overhead, would meditators then pay for a peaceful meditation retreat in the sky?

Take that crazy idea and run with it.  Free flow ideas and perhaps you’ll have that next big money making idea, but if not, that’s okay. The point here is to get the creative ideas flowing.

The following are pure imagination and in it’s first idea may be very unlikely.  They may require much more thought to develop into into a more practical money making idea. 

• • Become an animal communicator, with the living or the deceased.  Trust me there are courses to learn how to do this.
  • Get paid to be a walking billboard.  
  • Rent your (platonic) friendship to others.  
  • Sell your hair.
  • Rent out your dog.
  • Rent out your shed.
  • Become a professional sleeper
  • Spiritually cleanse houses.
  • Become a professional hand slapper. When someone’s on a diet, follow them around and help them resist temptations.
  • Create a new board game.
  • Create a new version of the singing telegram.
  • Bake and sell food with cricket flour.
  • Start an underwater school.
  • Rent out children to undecided prospective parents.
  • Have marriage insurance policies that cover the cost of a divorce, just in case.
  • Have a swimming pool restaurant; diners sit in floating seats and eat off floating plates.

What’s other crazy money making ideas have you had that never did anything with?  Chances are good that you can find some way to transform it into a more practical idea, and that is the point. This exercise in imagination can be fun and it’s also a profitable technique for generating more money making ideas.
